Workshop 2025

"Bridge" - Festival Workshop feat. 48 Hour Film Challenge

The workshop will be led by British film lecturers Dave Green and John Digance, who have already run film courses at universities and other institutions in the UK, Sweden, Spain, Russia, Pakistan and China.

In their own words: ‘This year's workshop theme is Bridge. It might be physical, mental, realist or fantasy. It may be documentary or fiction, experimental or continuity narrative. The choice is yours. We will watch and discuss short films and extracts that are related to the workshop topic - and then, two days later, your short films. Lets celebrate the power of creativity with spontaneity, experimentation and collaboration.’

All workshop events will be held in English. Participants must have their own film and editing equipment.

Workshop dates
Sat 25 Jan, 12–5 pm: Introduction, film screenings, talking about film ideas
Sat 25 Jan to Mon 27 Jan: Work on the 48-hour films
Mon 27 Jan, 7 pm: Public screening of the films at Sputnik Kino

Registration and further information at mail(at)lichtspielklub(dot)de

The workshop is free of charge.
